Although I did not start my working life in the Marine Industry, I wasn’t long before making the move. Having completed a mechanical engineering apprenticeship with the Ministry of Defence, I soon moved to a maintenance engineer position looking after a fleet of 10 65ft race yachts.
From here I progressed into race boats and outboards! After many years in this field, my career took me to a Volvo Penta main dealer where I became Parts Manager. Throughout my working life I have seen many products come and go and many great products stay routed in the marine service sector. I have built strong relationships with suppliers all over the world and hope to bring my knowledge and contacts directly to you.
I hope that Marine Flow Products will present the best products the industry has to offer and help you; the consumer, choose the best products for you with simple, factual, un-bias advice.
David Moore

Having completed an apprenticeship as a technician with the armed forces went on to serve a full career operating in various parts of the world. Trained as a marine engineer as part of my job I decided to target the marine industry for my second career and found employment initially as an engineer with one of the largest leisure yacht companies on the South coast for approximately eight years ending up as the engineering manager.
With my job done at that company I then went on to be the technical sales manager with a small yacht systems company for a short period. I then made a decision to move back to my roots as an engineering manager in a busy South Coast Volvo Penta boatyard.
My values of providing a good customer service at a fair price led me into starting Marine Flow Products with my business partner.
