Use an oil analysis test kit to learn about your engines health from the inside of the engine. Oil analysis has been used routinely in commercial and industrial applications for many years. We are bringing a simple DIY testing kit to all owners of engines and transmissions.
Take a small sample of your engine oil which is typically extracted through the engine dipstick tube using a suction pump. Put the oil sample into the small pot provided, complete the short ‘Details form’ with your engine specifics and contact details to enable the report to be emailed direct to you. Post the sample with the completed form using the pre-paid jiffy bag back to the laboratory. You will receive your detailed engine report in a few days.
Using the oil analysis test kit for annual testing will allow you to build a comprehensive picture of your engines internal health, giving insight into bearing wear, contaminants, fuel content, coolant contamination from head gasket failure to name a few.
If purchasing a new vessel, a simple quick oil sample test could save thousands on unforeseen repair bills and hidden expensive internal failures that may have been hidden otherwise.
