NOTE PART NUMBER SUPERCESSION: YOU WILL BE SENT A BOSCH FILTER AS PER 829913 NOT THE NEW NUMBER 21492771 WHICH DOES NOT FIT IN ALL APPLICATIONS.

This is the main engine fuel filter fitted on the older 2000 generation of Volvo Penta compact engines.  It is essential for any diesel engine to have clean particle free diesel. Having clean fuel will ensure longevity of the finely machined components in the fuel injection system. As a result your engine will  run as it was designed to.  Having clean well filtered fuel will save you money on both your fuel bill and expensive engine repair bills. Do not skimp on your engine fuel filtration.

It is common for a fuel filter to be changed every 12 months as part of an annual service, although service intervals do vary per engine. We recommend carrying a spare fuel filter or two on board for use in an emergency. Shops and dealers are not always open or even available wherever you may end up. It is important that even if you can’t replace the fuel filter you can hand it to someone who can and get on with your cruise without stress.
